In 1917 Jacob Schmidt and Anna Thesman married. There are over 150 descendants from that marriage. But the story didn't start with Jake and Anna. It started hundreds of years before.

Jacob's parents were Abraham Schmidt and Katharina Regier. Anna Thesman's parents were Heinrich H. Thesman and Sarah Jantzen.
